The property was homesteaded in 1886 and is still being run by descendants of those original landowners.
You can pick out a Christmas Tree (u-cut), enjoy cocoa and candy canes,
and take a short walk to our amazing 1,000 year old trees.
There are so many fascinating stories the owners can share: great grandma would sing a song on the hill to bring the cows home; travelers would stay in the barn across the river then in the morning yell over to be brought across by canoe so they could head over to Monroe and so many more stories!
